Miriam M Rand
As a counselor, I enjoy creating a partnership with my clients. Together we will explore the influences that have shaped your thinking, perspective, choices, and challenges. When we find the courage to look deeply enough, we gain the power to create lasting change. My personal style is that I act as a guide, not an expert, and together we determine the way forward. I offer a solution-based, emotion-focused, trauma-informed approach to meet client goals.
Understanding ourselves, our family, our networks, and our peers is the basis for developing authentic communication goals and skills necessary for rich connections. Learning to name and recognize our emotions and reactions creates the foundation for significant relationships that enrich our lives.
My most valued skill, beyond my training, is a capacity to deeply engage where you begin so that you can identify what moves you forward and what holds you back. Together we will find the path toward a fulfilling and joyful life as you define it.
